Notice: Our school's donation levels are significantly lower compared to other schools within our district. While the district average stands at $600 raised per elementary student, our school has only reached $390 per student in the 2023/24 school year. To bridge this gap and maintain our enrichment programs for our children, we kindly request that families contribute financially if they are able to do so.
At registration, we kindly ask each family to contribute to the Ed Fund. Here's a breakdown of your contributions and what they cover:
- $525 of your contribution directly supports salaries for our programs, equating to less than $3 per school day.
- Weekly visits to our Art Classroom provide lessons on various art mediums, offering a refreshing break from the standard classroom. Studies have shown that art positively impacts students' mental health. Notably, not all schools in our district offer Art, but we do, and we're committed to preserving it.
- Visits to MakersSpace, our STEAM classroom, offer lessons in innovation, problem-solving, and creativity. This hands-on experience is beloved by our students.
- Weekly Music Class is a favorite among our students, providing enjoyment and enrichment.
- Our Math Lab program supports and advances students' math skills in an engaging and encouraging environment.
- The Learning Lab fosters reading advancement and skill development in a small group setting.
Your involvement and support make a meaningful difference in the educational experiences of our students. Thank you for considering corporate matching and for your continued generosity!
Did you know? You can double your donation through corporate matching, and your contribution is tax-deductible! It's a win-win for everyone involved. Don't forget to follow up with your employer to inquire about matching your donation. Last year, we received over $40,000 in corporate matches, significantly contributing to the preservation of our programs!
